A Reflection on Godstock & Christmas

At Holy Land Farms, each gathering is more than an event. It is a moment where faith, community, and creation come together in meaningful worship. Throughout the year, the land has become a place where people step away from the noise of everyday life and encounter God in a setting marked by peace, prayer, and shared purpose.

Three moments in particular – Godstock, Christmas, and Easter – have helped shape the spiritual rhythm of the farm, each revealing a different expression of worship and reminding us of God’s faithfulness through every season.

Godstock: Worship in the Open Air

Godstock marked a powerful milestone for Holy Land Farms as worship filled the property in a way never experienced before. Families, friends, volunteers, and visitors gathered across the land, united by music, testimony, and fellowship.

Set against the natural beauty of the farm, worship echoes through open fields as voices lifted together in praise. What made Godstock especially meaningful was not simply the music or programming, but the visible sense of community – people praying together, reconnecting with faith, and experiencing worship outside traditional walls.

Godstock became a testimony that ministry does not require a building. Sometimes, it simply requires open land, willing hearts, and space for God to move.

Christmas at the Farm: Celebrating the Light

As winter arrived, Holy Land Farms transformed into a place of quiet wonder during the Christmas season. Candlelight services brought warmth and reflection as guests gathered to celebrate the birth of Christ beneath the evening sky.

Soft lights illuminated the property while families stood together in worship, reminded of the hope first revealed in Bethlehem. The simplicity of the setting allowed the true meaning of Christmas to take center stage – Jesus, Emmanuel, God with us.

Moments of prayer, singing, and stillness created an atmosphere that many described as deeply personal and peaceful. Christmas at Holy Land Farms became more than a celebration; it became a shared experience of gratitude and reverence.
