When Jason and a dear friend walked the land one day, they came upon a flower standing alone
— resilient and full of color, as if it had been planted by heaven itself. They stopped in silence.
This was it. This was where the chapel would go.
Now under construction, the HLF Chapel will be modeled after an 1800s church, simple and
reverent. It will have one center aisle between wooden pews, and a stained-glass cross that faces
south — casting beams of colored light across the floor all day long. The chapel sits just a short
walk from the Retreat Center, with old live oaks whispering in the breeze between them.
This will be a space open to all — for prayer, reflection, and communion with God. A place
where heaven touches earth.
